One way Chaos could keep his form would be by using an eloctromagnetic field. He charges himself, then would charge the water with particles that would cause the water to be attracted to him. The result might not be normal water, but then with Chaos he doesn't really care. He could generate an electromagnetic field in a certain shape around him and the water would take that form.

Computers work by having electricity move through wires and (I can't say but maybe it would be that a 1 is a higher pulse and a 0 is a lower pulse) reacts with equipment in the computer. For hard drive storage the electrical pulse would react with thelaser that writes data onto the hard disk drive and, according to the identification of the pulse, would write either 1 or a 0. That is the most simple part, there's just too much to answer it here, try looking it up. Correct me on anything if you see I madea mistake.

Whatever you understand is probably enough to know what it means. This describes the rocket shoes being propelled by chaos energy which you could probably think of as being made up of light and other forms of energy. Imagine a car propelled by chaos blast. 00

(I'm not sure if Shadow can run as fast as Sonic without his shoes, but he probably can.)

Hi! So how would Tails Doll float if he mechanical? Well he would have been made by the big egg so I'd say he probably made it antigravity. What you would have to do to create it is control negative mass matter, not easy but possible. How it gets it's power in reality if it exists: (My own question) As it would seem to have supernatural abilities, I would say it would absorb energy a spirit might. It could be that the possessed doll would absorb energy from pretty much anything or, to put it simply, existence. I don't doubt that the gem provides some source of power but it is not necessary as it has been told to keep going after it loses it. Chances are that it needs it to hold captured souls. I find it unlikely that it is a part of the red chaos emerald but it could be something similar.

Moving on to TD3s question: How does Knuckles glide?

Good god this was the hardest one I've ever done! I finally came up with something feasible. Think of a flying squirrel and how it can glide. Now I know Knuckles looks nothing like a flying squirrel but maybe he has flaps of skin tucked under his arms. What I am saying is that he would have flaps of skin basically held in by muscles near his armpits, when he glides they would not act like you expect. When he glides they would come out but you might not see much, they would act kind of like a parachute more than a hang glider. The flaps of skin would open up near his sides but would be curved to keep air in, it would also loosely curl around his body just enough to keep his normal shape but act as a weak parachute allowing him to glide through the air. I know I'm stretching here but hey, it actually works.
