Ranked #37
System: Nintendo Wii
Cost: 49.99
Music: Luigi’s Mansion and Mario Sunshine

Story
Mario and Luigi were camping out in an eerie forest when Bowser came along and tried to destroy them. But they were battling around very deep swamp waters! Bowser swiped at Luigi and Mario pushed him into the swamp water and he sunk and actually died! Explosions were heard after Bowser's death and Mario and Luigihid in a mansion. But Mario was trapped by King Boo, right on top of thecastle. E. Gadd came and gave Luigi the Poltergust 6000 since it's the year 2006. King Boo has sent all sorts of ghosts to guard the place. Instead offour bosses, there are eight, including the return of all the bosses from Luigi's Mansion 1.

Elemental Power Medals
Yes, this game does have elemental power medals, and there are six of them.
Earth Medal: You get this after defeating the first boss. Shoot boulders at ghosts. Or you can shoot sand that will bother their eyes.
Water Medal: You get this after defeating the second boss. Shoot water balls at ghosts. Or shoot a water beam that extinguishes fiery doors.
Fire Medal: You get this after defeating the third boss. Shoot fireballs at ghosts. Or shoot a fiery beam at the enemies to defeat them. That would be the easiest way. Light candles and lanterns with this.
Electric Medal: You get this after defeating the fourth boss. Shoot lightning bolts at dark enemies to stun them so you can suck them easily. Or shoot an electric beam at watery enemies to automatically destroy them. Possibly the best medal in the game.
Ice Medal: You get this after defeating the fifth boss. Freeze water and turn water enemies into icicles. Or you can shoot an ice beam to freeze enemies. Not that much of a help.
Metal Medal: You get this after defeating the sixth boss. This is a pretty good medal. You become metalized for five seconds. Shoot a rocket at enemies to take five or ten hit points away from them at the start and then suck them in. You can also shoot a giant beam that will detect enemies.

BOSS GHOST GUIDE
Chauncey
Difficulty: 2.5/5
HP: 100
Chauncey is back and is now three years old instead of one. Chauncey rides a racecar bed, still has that rattle still, and makes timer bomb balls that explode in a matter of time. The racecar will try to run you over. Suck one of the ball bombs in and shoot at that baby. He'll then scream and his crib will supersize. You use it for an arena. Chauncey has a machine now! It's a merry-go-round. There are four horses that shoot fireballs at you. When a bomb ball drops, suck it up and send it back at a horse. Once all four horses are destroyed the baby will just be standing there throwing a bomb ball. Suck it in and shoot it upwards at him. When it explodes the merry-go-round will lose its flight ability for a few seconds. Then suck Chauncey into your Poltergust. He has 100 HP, to let you know. At fifty health the horses shoot fireballs and spiked balls, which you cannot suck up. At ten health the merry-go-round picks up the pace, quickening its attacks and everything. Once he is sucked up you've beaten the first boss.
Boolossus
Difficulty: 2/5
HP: 30 HP x 15 Smaller Boos = 450 HP
You might find this extraordinarily difficulty just because of the hit points. But he's really easy! Boolossus splits into fifteen Boos and they each breathe fire or throw a spiked ball. Each one has thirty hit points. Suck them all up and you've won. He won't go back to the big, freakish Boo again. Once five Boos are left they throw Poisonous Mushrooms. Suck them all up to win the battle.
Wiz-Tech
Difficulty: 3/5
HP: 120
Wiz-Tech is a robot wizard created by King Boo. He's the first annoying boss. He will cast a spell to make a shield of books that eat humans! The books have 0 HP so you can easily suck them in. To suck them in they have to be green. They flash green momentarily. Once all of them are sucked in Wiz-Tech will shoot twelve missiles. You can't suck up the missiles. Now suck him up when he is charging up a laser beam. At fifty hit points he will start shooting bombs. Suck up a bomb and shoot it at him, when it explodes he will be angry and charge his laser beam. Suck him in! Once he loses all his hit points, he will be defeated.
Goo Boo
Difficulty: 3/5
HP: 100
Goo Boo is pretty annoying at first, but he can be the easiest boss fight in Luigi's Mansion. This guy just splits into three blobs of slimy Boos. You must throw a slime ball at the right one. If you use the slime ball and throw it at the wrong one then you'll be attacked by a giant slime sword that’ll take 20 HP. Five slime balls at Goo Boo will destroy him.
Bogmire
Difficulty: 4/5
HP: 200
Bogmire is really tough now. He is bigger, scarier, and more evil. He can order shadows to chase you, while using fireballs and venom breath that's very bad. His fireballs can be long- or short-ranged. I almost forgot that he can shoot out black holes anytime he wants. They will try sucking you in. Suck in a shadow VERY quickly or else you'll receive damage. Form a shadow into a giant, black ball and send it at Bogmire. Then suck him in. After ever twenty or thirty HP he'll get away. At fifty points he will make three lightning bolts. Once he is sucked into the Poltergust he'll be dead again.
Count Darkula
Difficulty: 4/5
HP: 250
The most aggressive boss so far. You've made it this far and he'll try stopping you. This guy will throw Poisonous Mushrooms at you at the start. If you're small he'll call upon at least six Thwomps. If you're not small he'll protect himself with three speedy spirits. Suck them in. Count Darkula isn't going to stop attacking just yet. Watch for his shadow. He will disappear and shoot out fireballs that dosn't disappear until he gets at least twenty health points gone. Once he reappears, suck him in. Every forty hit points gone he'll get himself out of danger and turn the tables on you. He’ll call upon three Dry Bones ghosts. Suck them in and the battle will repeat again. Once he is sucked in you'll only have the deadly duo to deal with, Bowser and King Boo.
Possessed Bowser and King Boo
Difficulty: 5/5
Bowser HP: 200
King Boo HP: 500
Bowser is back and he is a zombie! Instead of a Bowser machine we fight a Bowser zombie. King Boo has possessed him. He also gave him half his power. King Boo will fly away and leave you Bowser to deal with.
BOWSER: Bowser is not very hard. He will claw you, spew fireballs in many directions, enter shell mode, and his most dangerous attack, spit a giant, green fireball that explodes into twenty-five fireballs and a giant spike ball. Suck in the part that doesn't have a spike and shoot it at Bowser. Then suck him up. Since he is possessed and a zombie he counts as a ghost. After every thirty points he will get away from the Poltergust. Once he’s sucked in you'll fight King Boo.
KING BOO: This is it! The final match between you and Luigi's arch nemesis. King Boo! He will fly around, spitting blue fireballs and Firesnakes. King Boo is different from all the other bosses. You have to attack the red jewel first. There are six dragon heads and at least every fifteen seconds a dragon head will drop a giant ball of light. Suck it up and shoot it at the crown. Do this six times and King Boo will destroy the dragon heads and they will be replaced by Boos with a hand that tries to grab you. King Boo gives up his Firesnakes now and uses fireballs. Suck all the Boos in. They do not count as the Boo hunting session. Once they are all sucked in the machines get destroyed and get replaced with cannons. Make a cannonball hit King Boo and suck him in. Every fifty points he gets away. Once he is sucked in you've beaten the game. Or have you…?
Bad Ending
Luigi's Poltergust is getting too filled because of King Boo and Bowser, so he needs to send somebody out. He shoots out Bowser. He finds a 1-Up Mushroom and revives him. Bowser is freaked but asks what happened. Luigi tells him it's all an illusion. Bowser is so tired he falls asleep on the roof. Luigi then notices the Mario painting is gone. E. Gadd tells him an ultimate shadow, not King Boo but someone else, has stolen it. Luigi needs to find all the treasures!

6 Green Jewels

Once you get all these items you face the very final boss.
THE ULTIMATE BOSS!!!
If you've collected all the items E. Gadd tells you to go to the roof. Go to the attic and save. Now you'll see a cutscene. There's a mysterious figure that looks like Mario but darker. He says all living and dead things will be his to control. Luigi is confused. The figure then steals Luigi's Poltergust and paintings and they all get sucked into him. It turns out the boss is SHADOW MARIO!!! The ultimate boss. He has the Mario painting and eats it too. Luigi, Bowser, and E. Gadd are looking at Shadow Mario. E. Gadd gives Luigi an ultimate weapon, the Crystal of Ever-Light. Luigi needs to power it up, so you play as E. Gadd and Bowser. Shadow Mario then transforms into a giant dragon monster with ghostly powers! This is similar to metal madness in Sonic Heroes. Dark clouds appear up in the skies and lightning strikes everywhere. Luigi, Bowser, E. Gadd say “Let's defeat this Mario copy!” The final fight then starts.
****************SHADOW MADNESS****************
Shadow Mario has three stages.
Difficulty: 3/5
HP: 100/FS 200/SS 300 TS
FIRST STAGE: First you use E. Gadd. He controls a hovercraft. The A button is for dashing and B is for shooting bullet bills. The boss’ weakness is his heart. Shadow Mario has three attacks. He will emit venom breath, claw, and throw a giant spike ball from the tail. Shoot Bullet Bills at his heart. Each time he is shot he will lose five HP. His venom breath will make you lose five hearts, which is fifty hit points! So have full health. His claw is not that bad but his spike ball will roll very fast so keep running while you still can. After twenty Bullet Bills Shadow Mario will scream and the stage will be over.
SECOND STAGE: You now control Bowser. Press A to jump and B to pelt fireballs. The boss’ attacks are the giant spike ball, claw, and a flamethrower attack. The flamethrower is like a high wall of flame. It's pretty fast. Now you can't attack the heart directly. Sometimes he'll protect it with Boos surrounding the heart. You have to wait until they disappear. Each hit on the heart takes away ten hit points. After twenty hits on the heart Shadow Mario will get angrier and scream. The next stage will then commence.
THIRD STAGE: Luigi doesn't have the Poltergust! But just because he doesn't have one doesn't mean he cannot beat Shadow Mario in this stage. E. Gadd is fully powering the Ever-Light Crystal. Luigi can only punch for now. Now Shadow Mario has four attacks: Firewall, Venom Breath, Charge, and Claw. When he charges at you, punch his heart. The slime won't affect you. Every time his heart is punched he will lose twenty hit points. Once he is hit in the heart fifteen times he will scream and pass out.
***********SHADOW OVERLORD***********
Light Luigi VS. Shadow Overlord
Difficulty: 3/5
HP: 1,000
Shadow Mario will turn into a humongous demon. He sprouts wings and flies away into space. Mario will cry for help. Luigi eats the Ever-Light Crystal and becomes an ultimate light being. He has several awesome attacks. Shadow Overlord is pretty easy. He begins by shooting a beam of black crystals. Punch them to break them. Dash through space and keep up with Shadow Overlord or else he'll make a fire beam and blast you with it. You start with 100 Power Stars. Every second one decreases. If they all go down then Luigi will die. If you punch all the crystals then your crystal will increase. When it is fully charged you can shoot a giant beam at his heart. It takes two-hundred hit points away. You have to defeat him in one minute and twenty seconds or you're dead. Five light beams at him and Shadow Overlord will be PAINFULLY defeated.
Good Ending
Shadow Mario transforms back to plain ol' Shadow Mario and says it's no use. His heart than explodes and transforms into a blob of slime. Luigi receives all the paintings, his Poltergust, and the Mario painting. Luigi sucks up the blob of slime and returns back to the lab. E. Gadd puts the frame in the painting maker and turns it into a painting releaser machine, and the frame turns back to Mario. Mario and Luigi hug and shake hands. Bowser says he'll get them next time and runs off. E. Gadd says Shadow Mario must have survived his painful defeat in SMS. Luigi says “Oh well, at least he's gone for good.” Mario thanks E. Gadd and Luigi for their hard work. Mario and Luigi go back to the campsite and they hear more ghosts. Luigi says he's out to save the mansion. Mario tells him he can relax while he does the work. Will Mario ever defeat the ghosts? Will Luigi be captured? Tune in next time for Mario's Mansion!
