Since the floppiness of the Tails plush in the vid was brought up I'll say this for an explanation. On eBay, if you're lucky, you can find and purchase a 20 inch floppy Tails plush. It's even described as "floppy" by the seller in the item's description. That Tails plush version always gets sold out before I can get the funds for it. >.>
The knife. When the plush is in the background it looks like it has standard Tails plush hands; i.e. little fingers and such. The close-up shows something that looks like a round mitt. Why is there a difference in the appearance in the hand in the two different shots? The only answer that I can come up with, is that someone made it look that way on purpose.
The light factor. It looked to me like a light was left on in the basement. BUT, the video seems to have been shot in a dark corner but not too dark.
The doll's movements. This one stumps me a bit. But I think it was probably moved by strings like a marionette which is why it seemed a bit jerky.
Conclusion? Staged. Creepy, yes. But staged.

That question goes for a lot of other fake TD movies, and most of the people who make them just want attention. So they probably did just do it for a few minutes of attention. l:

There are a LOT of attention whores out there. I know of one personally *cough**Strat**cough* who makes vids on youtube whining about how mistreated he is by people who point out that he's a ban-evading troll, then turns around and bashes those same people. Yeah, lot of attention whores on youtube. >.>

*nodnod* Yes, there is a lot of Attention people on Youtube. But what if it wasn't for attention? What if it was for popularity, or just for no real reason at all?

Doing that for popularity basically is seeking attention. Once you become popular you get tons of it heh heh.

Seems like a waste of time :/ especially since the video's so good.
Well referring to the mention of the curse, he didn't do the curse in his basement, he said he heard noises and his friends told him to leave a camera in the basement.
I think we'll just have to wait and see if there are more videos from this person.
