It's a type of Virus in the Resident Evil games. The forum user here with the same name from what I've heard, Likes the game alot.

I didn't see this until now xD.
The G in "G-Virus" means "Gene". This makes since as to the fact this virus in Resident Evil 2 searched the genetic codes of it's hosts to see whether it was a suitable host for it to mutate it. If it wasn't suitable, the virus would make an embryo inside their body that will burst out of their chest and grow into a larger monster.
