This articles really don't have much thought about the human possibility to all this. It isn't even putting in the thought that we can actually defend ourselves and think. For those who don't want to read his, most of these zombies wont be thinking properly and complex strategies can be used to stop them. 1. The zombie problem: Zombies wouldn't be undead creatures, according to that. With all the military defenses and he such, almost anyone would be prepared for a "zombie invasion". The basic function of the human brain would go wrong, but there is still communication. The side effect of the medication I am taking is tiredness and higher anger. I am learned to stop that. Besides, if a virus/parasite like that comes to be, the human immune system will be able to eventually overcome that. Sounds awfully similar to the Hinamizawa Syndrome... 2. Of the zombie problem: You need someone to make you do this. Even if many get controlled, you will eventually overcome it. Or the military can stop it. Plus, medicine can be created to counteract the effects or the drug can be detected and stopped. 3. That really doesn't seem to be much of a threat. Sure, it can happen, but there are always those who would have natural immunity and that could be given to others and stop the disease. Yet again, the military can stop it. 4. Very easy to stop. Plus, in evolution, the body could develop a way to think again. But strategies can be used to stop them. 5. A nanobot could be captured, reverse programmed, and hack into the other nanobots. But this may be a while before we create nanobots of this capability, but the earth may be destroyed by matter eating nanobots first. Technology can be created and can be stopped.

Oh relax. This sounds way to much like RE4. If so, then special radiation treatments can be done to remove the parasite in it's early stages.... As soon as they invent it at least... but it still sounds like RE4....

...WHICH DOESN'T LET HIM LOG IN
Well I did explain all of this...
My level of detail is pitiful compared to this though. What can I say? I just answer question on forums, I don't write articles for a living! -_-;
Man, I'll have to make a youtube series to top this.

Well, rats act on instinct because their brains aren't as developed as a human's. Humans rely slightly on instinct too, but our thoughts are mostly logic-based. I'm no scientist, but I imagine a parasite such as the one described would be ultimately defeated purely by the human nature of thinking things through. -cough-of course not all humans always do...-cough-
