I'm thinking at this point we just really need a ground man to go to that plaque. Is there anyone on this forum with a car who lives in the area? Not familiar with the people here, so... yeah.

Yeah, I remember we found that out during the doll pictures stage.
As for what it means, I can't say. Dolst was delivering a message to certain other people? Dolst= Hermes ?= other god?
I don't know, maybe we look for files named after Greek/Roman gods? Or maybe there's an astronomical event coming up that would tell us more...

I don't know, maybe we look for files named after Greek/Roman gods? Or maybe there's an astronomical event coming up that would tell us more... Eebster got the files and such. Note that you need to go to "View full size image" and download the full size images to get the text files. So far the files are: 5letters.txt 3letters.txt 8lettersmore.txt 8moreletters.txt 9letters.txt I'm not sure that is the correct order, though; I might check that later. All are password protected, and "Hermes" is not the password. E: I'll bet the text in the video "deadline" is the clue for the password(s). I don't know what it means, though. I tried OPPSR just in case, but that doesn't work. For reference, the text is: Opening night: Positions get you in. Powers that be say: Stay Rooted in positions. E2: New video out on the dolst channel. It features a snail crawling across the ground accompanied by thrash metal. It's pretty funny actually. The only thing relevant to the hunt is part of the description, which reads: Presumably he is referring to the passwords to these text files. I don't know exactly what he means by "positions," though. Places, maybe? Maybe the order in which the pictures go? I'll try some things out. E3: Eureka! The passwords are 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, although not in that order. The text files contain a single line, beginning with a number in brackets which is the same as the password for that file. They are (in order):

Sorry for not crossposting guys, I just figured people here were checking the Roblox thread, too. I somewhat doubt the Mercury project is involved, since the relevant God is clearly Hermes ("Greek Mercury," as Nathan said), but we can't rule it out.

It seems we have a new field agent who has chosen the delightful name of "Paladin."

This tweet is kind of old, but it might be a clue: thatwillbuffout.com/2010/04/14/funny-car-photos-great-deal/ I got favorite comment! w00t! Surf W1=3ly Cute comment and everything but look at how he spelled "wisely". 1=3 Could that be a reference to the deadline cipher? I can't figure it out though.

New dolst tweets, although I think they are irrelevant. The only info we get is that he has a Facebook. Maybe I should friend him?
More importantly, Nathan gave us another clue on his Twitter:I assume this refers to March. I don't understand the "one equals" part, though.
E: Clearly this relates to 1=3. 3 is March. What is 1, though?
E2: I just realized that obviously 1 is the first line in the code (after we take the appropriate root, presumably; see Roblox). Given that, "One through five" is March. Therefore, suppose 1=M, 2=A, 3=R, 4=C, 5=H. That's a possibility, anyway. Unfortunately, that doesn't help me solve the code yet.
I will reproduce the code below:
[1]One through five [2]6 7 6 8 9 9 10 8 5 [3]8 11 12 [4]8 5 12 13 14 2 10 15 [5]8 5 7 3 8 9 9 10
If we do my substitutions, we get:
[1]M A R C H [2]6 7 6 8 9 9 10 8 H [3]8 11 12 [4]8 H 12 13 14 A 10 15 [5]8 H 7 R 8 9 9 10
E3: GOT IT! It honestly wasn't that difficult once I decided to do it. The solution is:
[1]M A R C H [2]F I F T E E N T H [3]T W O [4]T H O U S A N D [5]T H I R T E E N
That is, the deadline is March 15, 2013.
I still don't understand the clue in the video "deadline," though. What does Mercury have to do with anything? What does anything have to do with this date? There may still be more to this.

Good job eebster! I think maybe there is still maybe just a little more time before this ends then. lol I think the Mercury/Hermes thing referred to the phone Dolst was taking apart. It was called a Hermes. It was probably a clue to let us know about that.

Nathan has a new tweet:
He is talking about the user Paladin on the Roblox thread, who promised to help but hasn't done anything yet. The bottom line is that nothing is happening until we can get somebody on the ground, and nobody else has stepped up yet.

"I'm here. I've set a date for destination to probably this weekend. Havent been on for a while due to exams, but they're pretty much over. So, I'm looking for a monument near this location? maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou … 6&z=13 Side note, saw the G's Tweet. Seems like nobody else is gonna get another shot at this, so I'm gonna attempt to be as active as possible when I leave that day. More info on departure to follow within the week. Side side note. Hunter1, you made me a bit suspicious, you posted on the 26th about the tweet, but the tweet was on the 29th, 3 days after you posted. If you didn't edit it, I would have thought you were Dolst himself. Last edited by Paladin (Today 11:32 AM)" ____________________________________________________ Guess he just had a few things to do first, good to know he's not gone.

Hey guys, I'm back. Been having a hell of a time in MN, but I'm alive. Okay, I type and it's 100x slower than what I'm typing... dunno why that is. Anyway, looks like Paladin is heading to Claremont! If we're 1/2 done, then I guess there's 5 more clues to find? Glad the deadline is 3 years! lol

And it seems "The Knight" is only going to be able to be there for a day.
Sounds like our luck alright.

paperwulf just posted this over at robloxhq. Looks like Paladin came through and gangy confirmed it.
Edit: Here's what the monuments say.
1st: IN COMMEMORATION OF ALL VETERANS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES NOVEMBER 15 (16?), 1997 CLAREMONT, VIRGINIA
I'm not sure if that was a 15 or a 16. Do you remember, Paladin?
2nd: MAY 5, 1607 THE ENGLISH SETTLERS VISITED HERE THE PRINCIPAL VILLAGE OF THE QUIOUGHCOHANACH INDIANS - THIS MARKER IS ERECTED BY THE COLONEL WILLIAM ALLEN CHAPTER N.S.D.A.R. 1930
Time to start assigning numbers to letters I guess. But which one do we use? Do we use both? I'm too tired for this right now. Gotta work tomorrow. Also, here's what I believe to be the relevant contents of 5clue.txt again:
The Lock: 34 37 137 119 44 84 67 111 9 82 70 73 120 27 132 15 . 68 22 121
The Key: You must Force your way to the front of Each Line, and be Armed with the First Word.
(The first part has obviously been solved, as the monuments have been found, and it looks like gangatamer has confirmed that we got it right.)
Just another thought: I think maybe the fact that certain words in "The Key" are capitalized is significant. Armed and Force may be a reference to the armed forces monument.
