When the game was first released in Japan, there was an odd phenomenon between children ages 7-12, particularly in those using headphones to listen to the sound effects. Increase of nosebleeds, irritability, insomnia, and addiction to the game, playing for hours and hours on end and crying to the point of vomiting when the opportunity was taken away. 70% of these cases ended in suicide. "During the first few days of the release of Pokemon Red and Green in Japan, back in February 27, 1996, a peak of deaths appeared in the age group of 10-15. The children were usually found dead through suicide, usually by hanging or jumping from heights. However, some were more odd. A few cases recorded children who had began sawing off their limbs, others sticking their faces inside the oven, and chocked themselves on their own fist, shoving their own arms down their throat..." Wow. Very bizzare, indeed.
Oh my god. I just read that entire thing. Very, very disturbing story, indeed...it twists and turns almost as if it's just a fiction. But I really don't think it is...

Pyro, I Saw That on a youtube video description. Well, I've also seen it often on /x/ and /sanc/, so it is somewhat popular...

Very creepy. I've heard about it, but I never thought it was real. Thing is, when I played my Blue version, I never wanted to go into Lavender town due to it's music. I also heard of a kid down my street back then had killed himself about a year or so after he got his Red version. Would this have any connection?

That was great creepypasta, it really almost seemed to become all Higurashi-style. The whole 'Seeing dead children' really let me down though, it made the story all cliched and stuff. All in all a great creepypasta, the whole cliffhanger was fantastic.

Basically, what TDF just said. Since he just stole the words out of my mouth.

I think even though the G/S/HG/SS version is a buzzkill, I still would only want to listen to that and that only instead of the R/B/Y versions. Last time I almost shitted in my pants.

Thank you kind member. I shall only use curse words when they are for proper use. Fix'd But I still prefer sh**ed because it sounds kinda dramatic.

Huh. So, does anyone agree with me with the new theme? I hate the new theme. I prefer the old creepy one(s).

I personally hate a lot of the new HG/SS remixes. Mostly because I never really liked G/S' themes in the first place.

I listened to it out of curiosity, and now I've got a headache. Probably either out of my own fear or because of something unrelated, but still. And I hate most video game music (Except sonic R, muahahah) but I can't stop listening to this one. Argh.
