Becoming something else

I smiled. "well I gotta get going, my mom's waiting in the drive way. See ya!" I said as I walked out the door. When I got in the car my mother looked irritated. "Why were you in there so long?" "the doctor wanted to know what happened when Joseph passed out." I lied. 'Note to self, never go near that rock." I thought when I got home.

[Jigglypuff...is mad ._.]

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

It was Lunar.

Considering it was the weekend I decided to look for more of those rocks in the forest. 'What am I thinking?! if those things actually change human DNA?!'I thought as I walked though the forest.' Well, if I do find one, I'll just give it to Joseph. Maybe he'll know what to with those things.' I walked up a large hole in the ground. I looked into the hole, it was apparently a tunnel and the hole was where the ground gave away. 'Cool, a tunnel.' I thought. All of a sudden the ground under me gave away. The shock of when I hit the ground knocked me out cold.

"Groan" I woke up to something pulling my hair. I opened my eyes to see a little light blue blob like creature holding a strand of my hair. I sat up and looked at it a while then thought,"great I must be dreaming.' I poked it, it was soft and fuzzy. Then it started flying around saying something that sounded like "Choo" 'did I break it?' I thought as it landed on my lap, it seemed really happy. I hesitantly pet the creatures head, that made it more happy. Then I realized what it was. "okay so right now, I'm petting a chao from one of those video games because I fell in a hole trying to find another one of those rocks that gave one of my friends a tail." I thought out loud."Okay when did my life go from normal to totally screwed up?!" I picked up the chao and got up, apparently I only got a few cuts and bruises. I looked up, the side where I fell was steep but I could probably climb it. I put down the chao and climbed out of the tunnel. I started to walk to where I put my bike with the chao following. when I got to my bike I noticed that chao followed me all the way there. "go home little chao." I said to the chao making a movement with my hand, but it didn't get it and sat on the handle bars of my bike. "..."I looked at the chao who was looking innocently back at me. 'aw, I can't just leave it here, what if someone finds the cute little guy?' I thought. "Okay, you can come." I picked it up and put it in my messenger bag. "But stay in there until I get home." I closed the bag only leaving it a small hole so the chao can breath. Then I rode bike towards my house.

I stopped my bike noticing Joseph was following me. I got off my bike and looked at him."Hi Joseph. whats wrong?"

"Kinda..."Then I explained to Joseph what happened."And thats how I got the chao."

"You to!"I got back on my bike and rode home. Since my parents were at work and my sisters were at a friends house no one asked why I ran straight to my room. when I got to my room I closed the door. I set the chao on my bed. It looked at it's new surroundings and then started to fly around then sat on my book shelf happy with it's new home. seeing that it was content and that there was nothing in my room that the chao could break, I decided to get some food for it to see what it likes. Closing the door behind me I got a bowl of grapes, and a apple. When I got back the chao was struggling to keep a book from falling. I grabbed the book from it and put the book back. I set the fruit on my bed and set the chao in front of both foods. The chao looked at the fruit for awhile then started eating the grapes. "Ok, so I'll feed you grapes." I said looking at the chao. "Now what should I call you..." I looked outside, it looked like it was cloudy out and looked like it'll be pouring any minute."Hm, I'll just call you Rain." I said, not wanting to think about it too much. I set up a bed for the chao on the floor with a box and some of my spare blankets. Then I noticed something on my bookshelf. "HOW THE HELL DID THAT ROCK GET THERE!?" I said pointing at a gem that looked similar to Josephs. "OK, I'm calling Joseph about this 'cuz I refuse to touch it!" I then got out my cell phone and called Joseph.(I know you control the shards but this's just for some progress that ok with you Joseph?)

"Hi Joseph, it's me Tylar. Ya know that rock that nearly made you bleed to death through your eye? Well somehow one of those rocks got on my bookshelf."I told him.

[Zody]

Zody was walking through the woods when he suddenly tripped over something.
He didn't know what it was but BOY did it burn.
"Ouch....what the....why is it so ouch...hot?"
He stood up and lifted the stone.
It was blood red and it seemed to glow in his hand.
"Weird.....VERY weird"
Zody walked past Josephs house.
"I might go see how Joseph is"
Zody knocks on the door.

I ran over to the door and let Joseph in. "Wow, Joseph that was fast."

"I think whatever's changing you is changing you faster." I said as I brought him to my room. I grabbed the gem from the bookshelf. It felt as hot as hell but I ignored the pain and handed the gem to Joseph. "So, any idea what the hell these things are?" I said, not noticing my hand was bleeding.

"CHOO!"Rain flew up and started yanking my arm.

"Whats wrong?" I said looking at Rain confused.

"HOLY CRAP!" I yelled shocked at what I just saw. "I have a feeling this has gone from bad to WAY worse!" Then I finally noticed there was blood dripping off my hand. "CRAP!" I ran into the bathroom and wrapped the cut up with bandages. I walked back into my bedroom. "Now I'm wondering how we can hide all this from our parents."

Rinzin heard some commotion and had decided to walk over and see what was going on. When I reached the door steep he found a green stone on the ground and it burned like the desert...air. "Ouch!" I said droping the stone very quickly. "Hey Tylar! You home? I found a green stone on your porch!" I shouted.

"You think we can reverse that?" I asked not hearing Rinzin outside. "Cuz this is starting to get weirder and weirder." Rain was sitting on the bookshelf staring at Joseph.
