About me being an NPC, I could be a random person who pops up and gives you tips and hints on how to beat the final boss near the end of the game. Not during the actual battle, of course, but before it.

I.e: "Hey, you know the red thing on it's head? Maybe it's his power source, but who knows?"

Kinda like that. xD And if it's not too difficult, maybe we could add a Multi-Player mode, where two people can play as two different choosable characters and fight each other or something. Maybe NPCs can be unlocked to be in the Multi-Player mode, so they have more than just one role in the game.

But that's just a suggestion that's difficult to do. xD

Well I Had An Idea, Maybe We Could Have A Character Selection Before The Adventure Starts

And Maybe I Can Make Ideas For The RPG Like Swords,Shields,Armor,Attacks,Items,Magic,And All That Other Stuff And If I Can't Be A Playable Character Then Maybe I Can Be A Sword maker That Sells Swords In A Shop But If You Take My First Idea Into Consideration Then Yeah I Wouldn't Have To Be A Shop Keeper:D But Just An Idea In The First Sentence

Character selection isn't a good idea for a story driven game....it would just mess with the plot too much.
And would require too much needless coding to make it so you don't run into yourself later on in the game.

A naming screen would be good, but they aren't really important. Remember, not ALL RPGs have namable characters.

Hmm.... Well If We Can't Have A Character Selection Screen, Then How About This

Okay,You Find Someone (Or Fight Someone )Then They Join Your Team, BUT They Go To Some "Safehouse" Then You Go Inside And See All The Characters (And Talk With Them) And When You Go Out, You Choose Your Party, But Kon, Will Never Be Removed (For Some EXACT ODD REASON )
Because He's The Party Leader.

I'd like to help with the plot and heres a idea i want to throw in:
how about for the character you just name your character (which you can choose if it's female or male if you like that kind of thing -_-') that'll you play as in the entire game and as a place where you fight TD is at your old house (before the adventure began) there you see your families bodies and blood everywhere and in the back is TD stabbing someone then he turns to you and does one of those bad guy rants(you know the ones that they tell you to join them saying how strong they can you make stronger, yadda, yadda, yadda) then he attacks when you refuse.

*Sees topic* You need people who can make music eh? I actually had tried making a remix of Can You Feel the Sunshine? in Sony ACID not too long ago that I could finnish (it would sound 8 bit or something since I dont' have all the fancy sounds, but it could work.
