It never said that you stop being a purest soul after you're 17 It just said that people that are currently between the ages of 11 and 17 are purest souls, next year it will be people between 12 and 18. Basically, it was everyone that was still a kid when Sonic R came out is what I read. When Sonic R came out, everyone else was either had already gone through puberty or was a baby or wasn't born yet, which is why. |

Well if the purest souls are people between ages 11-17 then I'm one of them.

Actually It is probably eaiser to distinguish Purest souls during that period of time once they hit 18 it becomes harder to sense them so The TD is searching for them while the window of opportunity is still open because once that Purest soul hits 18 TD will have a heck of a time locating him. This is just a theory though

Do not Agree to go with him if you are then refuse his offer no matter what he tries, I have seen mostly that A purest soul must agree to go with The TD for him to actually take them. this goes for everyone as well, If the TD tries his best to get you to agree to lest him take you then under no circumstances should you say yes!

Oh god o.o thank you so much for posting that Chanterla.
I did the curse (actually, all at the same time) last night, and luckily I remembered reading one of the stories someone posted saying to never join tails doll because whenever you do die then, it'll be worse than if you said no. Knowing how worried I was getting when I did the curse I don't know if I would've said yes or no if he showed up, I just figured that if I did happen to be a purest soul then I would say no, but it looks like that isn't true. Looks like I'll have to be brave if tails doll does decide to show up anytime soon, and stand my ground.

Another thing I found is that TD does need the curse, If he dosen't why hasn't the Last purest souls been found by him? because Unless the curse is performed He lacks the power to either break their mental state or make them agree to go with him.
