Chapter 0: Prologue

Keizou stared at the horizon through his silicon goggles, he and his gang were traveling towards Areithora, though no one knew it, it was the last place that wasn't filled with Order spies. A truly free city. His Ride, the Bahamut, was going at least the fastest of his gangs rides. His daughter, Reiko, was on the backseat behind him. He smiled at her, and she smiled back...

After a few days of solid riding, hisgang passed a village, they decided to stay for a while, but when they saw that it had been pillaged, they decided to search for survivors.

They searched the village for any survivors, but didn't find any. Just when they were on the verge of leaving, Keizou spotted something lying just behind a burnt down house. He walked over to it, to find out that it was a boy, he was around Reiko's age.

"Boys!, Found a live one here!"

Keizou grabbed the boy, flung him over his shoulder, and walked back to his bike.

Chapter 1: Zody
18 YEARS LATER

Zody awoke, the tree branch he was on feeling slightly wet under his body. He sat up, tiny particles of rain dripping off his forehead. The branch swayed slightly as Zody stood, looking over the camp. His father,Keizou, well, he wasn't actually his father. Keizou had only found him after his village was destroyed. Anyway, Keizou was out on a hunt, with his closest friends. There were only a few people left at camp, including him and a girl, Keizou's daughter, Reiko.

He made his way down the tree, towards Reiko's tent. She was probably still awake, after all,she didn't really like sleeping, apparently it "wasted precious time". Zody landed from his drop with a *thud*. He looked at the sky, and found his star, Aelthai. He felt at peace by just looking at it. He walked over to Reiko's tent, listening to any sounds. All he heard was her talking:

"I know, but- ugh, really? Another month? Dad!.... Ugh, fine... bye, love you....."

Zody was rather dismayed, his 'father' was going to be away for ANOTHER month!

"Dammit..."

Zody decided to go see if Reiko was okay, after all she was already kinda missing her father. Zody could pretty much say the same... But something ticked at his memory, something was there, but he couldn't say what.

Zody opened the tent's door, Reiko jumped, as if she'd been startled. She whirled around, glaring at Zody for startling her.

"What are you doing here?"

"Just wanted to see you, what's wrong? You look sad."

Reiko turned away, wiping her face as she did so.

"Nothing, I'm fine."

"Reiko, you know that you don't have to act in front of me..."

Reiko turned, tears threatening to burst out at any time, she walked over to Zody,and hugged him.

"We may not be related, but... me and Dad... we, you know, love you...."

Zody knew this already, if they didn't care, they would've left him to die.

"I know, and I love you even more..."

Reiko stepped back, her eyes locking into his for a brief second, and in that second they shared a moment, and in that moment,they both felt a tremendous feeling for the other. Then, the messenger burst in(Cliche i know), obviously puffed from running.

"Theres been a breach, main gates broken, heavy casualties.... it's Cerberus!"

Zody and Reiko both looked shocked, Zody was astounded, he was sure he destroyed Cerberus when he escaped the Mechanics Plant.

"Impossible, I killed that bastard!"

"Obviously not, Zody, now lets go!"

Reiko grabbed her two Uzi's and handed Zody his Beretta. Then they ran straight out of Reiko's tent,and towards Cerberus.


Cerberus was a huge dog-like mech, piloted by a supercomputer. It was one of The Orders ultimate weapons. and it had tracked him down.

They arrived at the scene, only to find the Cerberus gone,and only a robot in its place.

"What the, where's Cerberus? And what IS that?"

"It doesn't matter Zody, but I have a weird feeling..."

Zody turned around and looked at her, watching her eyes take in the scene. Then...

*VROOOOOM*

Zody spun around, only to see a dirl on a bike, speeding towards him, a guitar in hand. Zody put himself in a defensive stance and braced for an attack.

The biker came closer, aimed, and twisted and got trough his block, hitting him right on the forehead, and sending him sprawling. The biker fish-tailed to a stop, and Reiko went to help Zody up.

"Don't touch the boy!"

Reiko's head whipped around to see the biker walking towards them. The biker was tall, only a few years older than herself, and Zody too.

"What the f*ck did you do that for!?!?!?!?!?!?"

"I needed to use his head"

The biker walked over to Zody and flipped him over, onto his back.

"Ugh, what the hell... Just happened?"

Zody sat up, and stared at the biker.

"Who are you?"

The biker smiled, shook their head, and took off their headgear.
