I'm just posting it here so I don't loose what I typed, since this is the story I'm planning on submitting to the Tails of the Crypt site. This took a week and a half to write, so stuff was changing in the middle of writing it so I had to make a few edits.
I knew of the warnings. They happened every time I would try something Tails Doll related, but I ignored them. "Tails Doll doesn't exist," I thought. I had read all of the stories, so I knew Tails Doll always avoided Sonic, so I took that as "Tails Doll is weak against Sonic." My birthday just happens to be 3 days after Sonic's, so I translated that to mean "If Tails Doll did exist, then I'm safe anyways." I was only half right.
I had been going to several stores looking for Sonic Gems Collection for the purpose of playing Sonic R, but I couldn't find the game anywhere. Even stores that had the case for it didn't have the game, and the people that worked at those stores were even confused. I finally found a Gamestop that did have the game, but they didn't have the case because the game was used. I bought it anyways and was glad to have my hands on it. I checked the back for scratches and saw it didn't have any major ones on it, but it did have some odd sticky stuff on it.
As soon as I got home, I put the game in my Wii to play. I decided to try out Sonic Fighters first, so I could keep teh excitement of having a new game, Sonic R. I started playing, but when I got to the third person to fight, my Wii stopped reading the disc. I figured that I would try Sonic R out to see if it would work, since the other game messed up.
It tured out that Sonic R worked just fine, and I had a blast playing it. I played through the game with Tails to get a feel for the game. Once I got used to the controls, I decided to unlock everyone. After only 2 hours of playing the game, I had everyone unlocked. After doing that, I had only one thing on my mind. "Tag Super Sonic with Tails Doll on Resort Island." I set up my capture card to record and then did the tag mode. I tagged Metal Knuckles, then Metal Sonic, then Egg Robo. All that was left was Super Sonic. After about a miinute he glitched and kept running into a wall, so I easily tagged him.
Nothing happened. Feeling safe, I saved the game. Afterwards, I played the game even more, and the next thing I knew, it was 9:00 PM and I started playing orriginally at 2:00 PM. I then turned off the game.
3 days later, a branch from a tree fell and landed on our phone line, so there was no phone or internet for a few days, but the power still worked. I figured I would call my mom with my cell phone to tell her, since I'm the only one at home during the day during summer, but my cell phone wouldn't work either for some reason. I had no way to communicate to anyone. Because there was nothing to do, I played Sonic R. I played the whole day and beat every level on hard mode with everyone I could. The only two I couldn't with were Egg Robo and Tails Doll, so I did the few levels I couldn't beat with them in Normal Mode. Even after having the game only 3 days, I was already an expert at it. Before I say what happened next, I'll tell you this right now. When I played through Resort Island with Eggman, there was fox. That isn't a weather effect prgrammed into the game. The next day, I saw fog when I went outside, so I told my mom and she said she didn't see any out there, so I checked again and the fog was gone.
Anyways, the night that I did every level, I also did tag mode with Tails Doll again... 3 times. First I did it on Radical City, which tok 10 minutes, but Super Sonic ran towards me and into me at the end for some reason. Next was Regal Ruins. This one took 20 minutes, but Super Sonic finally slipped up. Then I did tag mode on Reactive Factory and it took less than 5 minutes. Afterwards, I saved and turned off the game.
That night, there was a red light in my room. It startled me at first, but then I thought, "If that's Tails Doll, and if he threatens me, then I'll join him and then I'll be ok." I stared into the light and everything seemed to go from dark to darker, and eventually, pitch black. I felt like I was about to loose all that was good inside me, and that I would from then on become evil. This gave me doubt, and as soon as I felt that doubt, I saw a flash of light in my room. It was only in an instant, but it hurt my eyes so much. Afterwards, I noticed that the red light was still in my room, so I turned away from it and went to sleep with my back towards the room. This was my way of saying, "I'll never join you." The next night, the light came back, but I ignored it. The third night, I took my digital camera with me and waited for the light to appear again. When it did, I set my camera up to record.
The next morning, I put the SD card from my camera into my laptop to upload the video of the red light, but when I looked at the video, it was pitch black. My attempt to get the red light on camera failed. The light wasn't there the next night, nor the night after that. It was only there in my room for those 3 nights.
By this time, I had already joined the Tails Doll Research Lab site, so I did a lot of talking about Tails Doll for a while, and when I wasn't talking about him, I was playing Sonic R. The game didn't work for a while, but after a few tries, I got it to work, though. My game acted... strange though, and it still does. If I play a game other than Sonic R, my Wii stops reading the disc between 10 and 30 minutes, but Sonic R always runs fine on it. The sticky stuff has somehow spread to the edges of my Brawl disc, which is strange because Sonic R on Gems Collection is a Gamecube disc, so it never touches where the edges of my Brawl disc touches the Wii.
Sonic R itself has acted strange lately too. Whenever I play as Metal Sonic, Tails Doll does whatever he can to stop me from winning when I play on Radiant Emerald. Tails Doll waits by the shortcut door and opens it for Super Sonic every time, so I can't win. I've finally given up trying to win there with Metal Sonic. Tails Doll also acts strange on the level Radical City. On that level, he tends to go through walls a lot.
Anyways, I was getting annoyed of not knowing if Tails Doll was real or not, due to things happening to make me believe, then disbelieve, and back in a cycle. Because of this, I decided to do every Tails Doll curse I could think of at the same time, so I did. I waited until 11:00 PM, I turned off all of the lights, and then did tag mode with Tails Doll on Resort Island while listening to "Can You Feel the Sunshine?", "Can You Feel the Sunshine? ACID Mix" both forwards and backwards, and "Livin' in the City" both forwards and backwards all at the same time while keeping a hand-drawn picture of Tails Doll up on my laptop next to me. I tagged Egg Robo, then Metal Sonic, and then Metal Knuckles with some difficulty because he teleported at one point. All I needed left was Super Sonic. In my mind, I thought, "Why am I doing this? Nothing goo dwill come of it," but before I could change my mind and quit, I had already tagged him. I saved the game and exited to the game selection menu, said a few things into the camera, since I was recording, then looked back at the TV and saw that it was acting fine, so I turned away again, but as soon as I did, the Wii showed a message saying that it couldn't read the disc, so I quickly turned off the camera and Wii. The red light was in my room again that night. From then on, the red light as been in my room every night.
3 Days later, I decided to try the song in the bathroom curse, and I figured I would try a couple songs, just in case nothing happened. The first song I tried was "Live and Learn" because that song hurts my chest whenever I listen to it. That song didn't do anything, except for making my chest hurt, like normal, so next, I tried "Livin' in the City" backwards, and that did nothing either. Next I tried "Can You Feel the Sunshine? ACID Mix", and again, nothing happened. I felt like being silly afterwards, so I did the curse again, but used Rick Roll instead. This was a mistake. After the song finnished, I left the bathroom and laughed and said, "Silly doll, you don't exist." Just then, the cable box above my TV started acting strange, and then it turned off on its own. I was the only one awake, so I was confused. I didn't want to take any risks, so I went to my room and went straight to bed and tried to ignore the red light in my mirror. That night, I had some really bad nightmares that I don't want to even talk about.
A few days later, while discussing the Tails Doll at Tails Doll Research Lab, I looked over at the front room and saw a red light in the sun-shaped mirror we have at home. I figured I would try taking a picture of it. I brought my laptop with me so I could listen to the instrumental version of "His World", since that's one of the few Crush 40 songs that doesn't hurt me. The closer I got to the light, the worse I felt, so I stopped about 15 feet away from the light and took a picture of it, with flash off. I was nervous, so my hands were shakin. The picture came out a bit blurry because of that, but you can still see the light in the picture. Anyways, I took my SD card out of my camera to put it in my laptop to upload the picture, and my SD card was very hot for some reason. It was so hot that it almost burned my hand. I ignored it anyways and uploaded the picture to photobucket, and right after it finnished uploading, my chest started to hurt pretty badly, so I looked at my chest and saw that it was red. I tried to ignore it, though it hurt so bad I almost cried. I tried to go to sleep, but my chest hurt so bad that I couldn't, so I just layed down in bed awake the whole night. The next day, I didn't feel any better. My chest stopped hurtning, but my back started hurting. I just tried to ignore it, but I couldn't. I didn't tell anyone about it though, and sure enough, my back stopped hurting... only to have my chest hurt again. I couldn't sleep that night either due to the pain, and the fact that I was worried about one of my friends, Savannah, who I hadn't heard from in a while. There was something else on my mind too. A member on the Tails Doll Research Lab site, Chanterla, had decided that it would be funny to impersonate Tails Doll. At the time, it seemed real though. He said he would attack one of the member's friends if I didn't appologise for something I did. I refused to and ignored that the persono's friend might have been in danger, so the impersonator said, "Because of your lack of compassion, I know that you are my human form." Later on that night, I fount out that that was Chanterla due to "an accident" I made.
That night, I had a dream that showed me exactly what Tails Doll was thinking about the people who impersonated him, though I didn't make sense of the dream at the time. It wasn't until morning that I realized what the dream meant: Chanterla was in trouble. I wanted to warn him, but he hasn't been online since then. Oh wait, he's online right now, it looks like I was right about the hurricane avoiding my home to hit where he was.
Anyways, I have currently been working with the other members of Tails Doll Research Lab to come up with theories to help fight off Tails Doll. Chanterla swears that he didn't impersonate Tails Doll, but I'll never believe that, because if it was true that it wasn't him and that it really was Tails Doll, then that would mean I really am the Tails Doll's human form. That would also explain my orriginal name, R. J. Davis, being so close to the name T. J. Davis, who's innitials are T. D. would have more meaning than just a coincidence, and I don't want to believe that.
I also have been uncertain for a while about if I should help or fight against Tails Doll. Luckily, I met Ray Prower online, and that alone is why I currently want to stop the Tails Doll no matter what.
A few last things to note: the song "Live and Learn" apparently hurts most of us at Tails Doll Research Lab. Quite a few of our names at Tails Doll Research Lab have our names in the song "Livin in the City" when played in reversed. The most noticable one is mine, KRDsonic, where at the beggining after it finnishes saying "He's listening", it said over and over "KRDsonic. KRDsonic. KRDsonic. KRDsonic." I haven't had a moment without pain or illness since I took the picture of the red light. One of my friends recently bought Sonic R and said he wants to try the curse this weekend. I was never supposed to be born, the chances were less than 1 in 1000, and yet I was still born. My Wii has been messing up quite a bit lately, ever since that day I did every Tails Doll curse at the same time. Multiple games of mine have been messing up, except for Sonic R. In Sonic R though, Tails Doll has been taking major shortcuts by going through walls. Also, one day I put in my Brawl disc in my Wii, and instead of it showing the brawl menu, it showed the Sonic Gems Colleciton menu. Another thing: I've been getting a longing to want to go home. This feeling has been frustrating me a lot, because how can I go home when I'm already home? Is this truely my home?
Anyways, everything I have written (I say written because I hand-wrote all of this before I typed it) is the truth and only the truth, with no exaggerations. My story, here, took a week and a half to write, and I wrote this to share my information with you readers. I'll tell you now though, joining the fight against Tails Doll puts the lives of you and everyone you care about at rist, so if you join, keep that in mind, because I won't stop my research to save you or your friends, I'll fight the Tails Doll til the end no matter what.
I knew of the warnings. They happened every time I would try something Tails Doll related, but I ignored them. "Tails Doll doesn't exist," I thought.
